About us

Sometimes if feels like there's nothing to do on this peninsula if you're not a pastel-toting tourist, or collecting social security. Those of us who grew up here, or "summer" here, love Cape Cod, loves it, but struggle to find things to do once the sun goes down. It's lame.

I am determined that there is tons of fun and cheap stuff to do on the Cape, but there's just no good medium that tells us where and when. The Cape Cod Times is filled with countless articles about piping plover preservation and who's wrecking the public school systems, not the most accessible place to find hot bands or good drink deals. Cape Week is good, but it only comes out once a week and I get easily distracted by those classy personal ads. That shizz is priceless. And let's face it, people only read local papers for the police reports. So where do we go to find fun stuff; parties, bands, shows, cheap drinks, or just non-Kennedy or ocean-themed events? Where do we find places to hang out that are open (gasp!) past 9 pm? Where's our medium?

Cape Cod Cracked is gonna bring it to you. A click away will be your nightly and weekly "best bets", and good places to eat, drink, and be merry. We'll let you know about the good baseball games, concert venues, and when and where to catch movies. We'll tell you who has the best happy hours, who has the cheapest nachos, and share some off-the-beaten-path stuff you've never even thought to explore. Maybe we'll even through some kickin parties. Shake this peninsula UP. Who's with me?
